Many kids love to snack on a marshmallow treat, and Chef John Slattery, General Manager and Head Chef at Papp’s Bar and Grill, has some tips to make these treats a little healthier.
12 oz of marshmallow
1/4 cup butter
Cereal (crisped rice cereal, fiber-filled cereal, chocolate-flavored cereal)
2 T. Flaxseed
2 T. Chia seeds
Melt the marshmallow and butter in a pot on the stove.
Stir in the cereal.
Add flaxseed and chia seeds.
Pour into a greased pan, flatten out, and let cool.
